Designed for business music systems, paging, and public address applications, the FAP8CXT includes a curvilinear polypropylene woofer cone for reduced harmonic distortion and a built-in crossover for seamless frequency transition. The 1" exit compression driver is coupled to a specially designed conical waveguide horn, delivering excellent pattern control and powerful output, even in open or reverberant spaces.
A factory-assembled, deep-drawn 937 in³ galvanized steel enclosure is tuned and ported for extended low-frequency response, while the high-quality 60W low-saturation transformer supports 70.7V/100V distributed audio systems. A front-mounted tap selector switch allows easy power tap adjustments—including an 8Ω bypass mode—without removing the speaker from the ceiling.
