The AtlasIED SD72WV 8" Ceiling Speaker with Volume Control delivers high-performance 25-watt audio in a versatile in-ceiling design. Designed as the latest addition to Atlas’s powerful cone loudspeakers, the SD72WV is sonically compatible with previous C-Series models, making it easy to integrate into existing installations.
Featuring a 10oz ceramic magnet and curvilinear treated paper cone, this speaker reduces harmonic distortion while providing clear, natural sound. A 1" copper voice coil with black anodized aluminum former enhances power dissipation and reliability.
The SD72WV includes a factory-installed 25/70.7V line matching transformer with tap selections from 0.25 to 5 watts, and a baffle-mounted 5-watt volume control that can be incorporated or removed depending on installation needs. The CRS white powder coat baffle comes with concealed mounting studs and standard mounting holes to fit most Atlas 8" tile bridges, mounting rings, and enclosures.
