Shure BETA 98H/C Clip-On Instrument Microphone
The included Shure BETA 98H/C is a compact cardioid condenser microphone designed for professional instrument pickup, particularly brass and woodwind instruments.
Its integrated mounting clamp attaches to compatible instruments, while the flexible gooseneck allows precise positioning near the sound source.
The cardioid pickup pattern helps emphasize the instrument while reducing unwanted sound from surrounding performers and stage equipment.
The BETA 98H/C is particularly well suited for:
-
Saxophones
-
Trumpets
-
Trombones
-
Other compatible brass and woodwind instruments
-
High-sound-pressure instrument applications
The compact microphone design allows performers to move naturally without relying on a stationary microphone stand.
BLX4R Rackmount Wireless Receiver
The Shure BLX4R is a single-channel wireless receiver designed for professional live sound applications.
Its rackmount design makes it suitable for portable sound systems, installed audio racks, and performance venues.
One-Touch QuickScan Frequency Selection
Shure QuickScan automatically searches for an available operating frequency within the system's supported frequency band.
This simplifies wireless setup and helps users select an appropriate frequency in environments where other wireless systems may be operating.
Professional Audio Connections
The BLX4R receiver provides XLR and 1/4-inch audio outputs for connection to compatible mixing consoles, amplifiers, and professional audio equipment.
Rackmount hardware is included for integration into a standard equipment rack.
BLX1 Bodypack Transmitter for Freedom of Movement
The included Shure BLX1 bodypack transmitter provides a compact wireless connection for the BETA 98H/C instrument microphone.
Designed for performers who need mobility on stage, the transmitter offers intuitive controls and convenient battery-powered operation.
Powered by two AA batteries, the BLX1 provides up to 14 hours of operation, depending on battery type and operating conditions.
This makes the system a practical choice for rehearsals, concerts, worship services, theatrical productions, and other extended performances.
