JBL EON610 10" Powered Loudspeaker's Design
The EON610 10" Powered Loudspeaker's enclosure designs have been created for ideal acoustic resonance taking advantage of injection molding techniques and mechanical shaping of these enclosures. This results in huge increases in cabinet volumes enabling better acoustic performance while still maintaining the same footprint. Two specially positioned handles make the JBL EON610 10" Powered Loudspeaker super easy to carry. Integrated hardware mounts, designed into the enclosures, allow each model to be flown when needed. Indexed feet molded into the enclosures allow for convenient storage and transport, secure stacking for stage monitor, basic stand up configurations, and unique acoustic configurations.
JBL Waveguide Technology
The JBL EON610 10" powered Loudspeaker's amazing performance comes directly from JBL'S breakthrough approach to waveguide design. The engineers at JBL examined the radiation characteristics of the EON’s high and low frequency drivers at 36 different points employing JBL’s exclusive, state of the art measurement techniques, then designed the Image Control Waveguide ensuring the sound radiation and coverage pattern match at the high frequencies, the crossover point and the low frequencies. These result's found a consistent response throughout its 110 degree coverage pattern. The quality and consistency between on axis and off axis response delivers uniform coverage and high intelligibility throughout the coverage area, which means the JBL EON610 10" Powered Loudspeaker is smooth, transparent sound is the same for the whole audience.
Bluetooth Integration
JBL engineers developed an iOS and Android supported Bluetooth v4.0 compliant interface for controlling master volume, adjusting the 5-way, user definable parametric EQ, and saving and recalling user presets.
Amplification
The JBL EON610 10" Powered Loudspeaker features 1000 watt power amplification built to complement the performance of it's drivers, bringing exceptional headroom with power to spare whether for a fixed PA application or the demands of a traveling band. Driving the custom JBL high and low frequency transducers, the system provides major sound pressure levels with lower distortion throughout the system’s full frequency range.
Input
The rear panel provides XLR-1/4” combination inputs for each of the system’s two channels, with individual gain controls and signal presence LED’s. The EON's master volume adjusts overall system level with a convenient limit LED indicator. Built-in EQ Presetsmake it easy to set the system as a Main, house speaker, Monitor speaker, crossover contour for adding an EON subwoofer, and a Speech setting for high intelligibility in basic PA and announcement applications.

The EON 600 Series is a platform technology with a full range of models that integrate to create multiple system options that are a huge help in challenging audio environments with loud volumes.
