Shure BETA98H/C Instrument Microphone
The Shure BETA98H/C is a versatile, premium cardioid condenser microphone designed specifically for brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. It securely clamps onto the bell or rim without the need for external mounting hardware. Featuring an integrated gooseneck with a ratcheting swivel joint and an isolation shock-mount, it minimizes mechanical and key noise for clear, natural sound reproduction.
Available in wired (BETA98H/C) and wireless (WB98H/C) versions, the microphone delivers high gain-before-feedback and excellent noise rejection, with a tailored frequency response to handle the demanding dynamic range of live and studio performances. The wired model includes a 3 m high-flex cable with an attached preamplifier and XLR connector, while the wireless version has a 1.6 m cable with a 4-pin mini-connector for bodypack transmitters.
Compact and lightweight, the BETA98H/C provides low visibility on stage, and includes a gooseneck angle brace for stable placement during active performances.
