The SoundTube XT850 is a high-performance 2-way outdoor loudspeaker engineered for demanding commercial, residential, and public outdoor installations. Built with professional-grade components and a weather-resistant design, the XT850 delivers exceptional sound quality in any environment. It is UV, scratch, chlorine, and weather-resistant, making it perfect for both background and foreground music as well as paging applications.
The sealed in-ground enclosure provides deep bass down to 38 Hz (±10 dB) and ensures optimal off-axis performance for consistent sound across large outdoor areas. Patented BroadBeam® waveguide technology delivers smooth 360° horizontal coverage, reducing the need for multiple speakers and lowering system costs.
Installation is straightforward and flexible, with theft-resistant hardware, a weatherproof 5-position tap switch for 25/70.7/100V systems, and a transformer bypass position. Multiple wire inlets simplify daisy-chaining, and the enclosure includes liquid-tight compression fittings for water protection.
