The RDL DB-TPS3A is a three-pair Format-A audio sending module designed for professional installations requiring microphone and stereo line-level audio over twisted-pair cabling. Ideal for wall boxes, equipment cabinets, and Decora-style mounting locations, it provides a balanced XLR microphone input with 24 V phantom power, plus two unbalanced RCA inputs for left and right consumer-level sources.
Each input is processed through studio-quality preamplifiers optimized for low noise, low distortion, and wide bandwidth. A rear-panel MIC GAIN switch allows installers to choose between NORMAL or HIGH gain to match microphone levels accurately. The module routes the mic signal to Pair A, while the left and right RCA inputs feed Pairs B and C, enabling full three-pair audio transmission across a single twisted-pair cable.
Because it drives all three FORMAT-A audio pairs, the DB-TPS3A is used as a standalone sending module and is not chained with other Format-A senders. It supports local or remote powering, with dual RJ45 jacks that pass power and all three audio pairs to connected receivers. A front-panel blue LED confirms active power.
Available in black (DB-TPS3A), white (D-TPS3A), or stainless steel (DS-TPS3A), this module delivers premium audio performance, exceptional hum rejection, and the installation flexibility expected from RDL’s FORMAT-A system.
