The EZ-MCP1 is a compact in-line microphone compressor designed to deliver clear, consistent audio—even when microphone levels fluctuate by as much as 30 dB. Simply connect it between any dynamic or condenser microphone and a mic-level mixer or amplifier to enjoy professional-quality automatic level control.
Setup is quick and intuitive: adjust the front-panel level trimmer during normal speech until the compression LED begins to flash. A rear-panel output level trimmer is also included, though the default setting is suitable for most applications. When connected to equipment that provides 24 V phantom power, the EZ-MCP1 automatically enables phantom voltage.
By maintaining steady audio levels and preventing distortion and clipping, the EZ-MCP1 significantly improves sound quality and speech intelligibility.
