AtlasIED HLE-3T Explosion-Proof Compression Driver – Hazardous Area Audio
The AtlasIED HLE-3T is a 60-watt, 70-volt explosion-proof compression driver/horn assembly, engineered for high-efficiency voice and electronic signal communication in hazardous environments. This driver is housed in a rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure, equipped with 1/2" conduit access and an adjustable mounting bracket for versatile installation.

The HLE-3T includes a factory-installed, internally mounted transformer, required to meet UL compliance for hazardous area applications.

Optional projector horns allow for customizable sound coverage:

• HLE/MLE-30: Polycarbonate projector creating a 120° x 60° pattern for wide-area coverage

• HLE/MLE-32: Spun aluminum bell providing a 95° circular distribution

Important: Only the HLE/MLE-30 and HLE/MLE-32 horns are UL-listed for use with HLE/MLE explosion-proof drivers.

The HLE-3T is UL-certified and safety listed to UL1203, UL1604, UL2279, and UL913, approved for Class 1, Groups B, C & D hazardous locations, making it ideal for signal and communication systems in combustible or hazardous areas.
