The AtlasIED ROCKFA62T-BR is a professional 6-inch outdoor landscape rock speaker designed to deliver clear, balanced sound while blending naturally into gardens, patios, and commercial outdoor environments. Featuring a realistic brown granite-style enclosure, this weather-resistant loudspeaker provides an attractive alternative to traditional surface-mounted outdoor speakers.
Part of the AtlasIED Strategy Series, the ROCKFA62T-BR combines a 6-inch Kevlar-treated woofer with a 1/2-inch PEI dome tweeter for detailed music reproduction and clear speech intelligibility. Its two-way design delivers a specified 80 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, making it suitable for background music and paging in outdoor hospitality, retail, and landscape installations.
With an integrated 70.7V/100V transformer, selectable power settings, and an 8-ohm bypass, the ROCKFA62T-BR offers flexible integration into commercial distributed audio systems and compatible low-impedance amplifier configurations.
Whether installed along landscaped walkways, beside outdoor dining areas, or throughout resort grounds, the ROCKFA62T-BR combines professional sound performance with discreet architectural styling.
Features and Benefits
Natural Brown Rock Design for Landscape Integration
The ROCKFA62T-BR features a realistic brown granite-style enclosure designed to complement natural outdoor surroundings.
Unlike conventional box-style loudspeakers, its rock-inspired appearance allows it to blend into gardens, landscaped courtyards, patios, and other outdoor spaces.
This makes it an excellent option for commercial properties where maintaining an attractive environment is just as important as delivering dependable sound.
Two-Way Speaker Design for Clear Outdoor Audio
The ROCKFA62T-BR incorporates two dedicated drivers for balanced sound reproduction:
-
6-inch Kevlar-treated woofer for midrange and low-frequency performance
-
1/2-inch PEI dome tweeter for high-frequency clarity
This two-way configuration helps reproduce music with natural tonal balance while maintaining speech intelligibility for outdoor announcements.
Its specified 80 Hz–20 kHz frequency response supports a wide range of commercial background music and paging applications.
Wide Sound Coverage for Outdoor Listening Areas
Featuring a specified 110° horizontal dispersion pattern, the ROCKFA62T-BR is designed to distribute sound across outdoor listening areas.
Wide horizontal coverage is particularly beneficial for landscaped spaces, patios, courtyards, and walkways where listeners may be spread across a broad area.
Proper speaker positioning and spacing help provide consistent coverage while minimizing excessive volume in individual locations.
Flexible 70.7V, 100V, and 8-Ohm Operation
The ROCKFA62T-BR includes an integrated transformer rated up to 32 watts, supporting commercial distributed audio installations.
The speaker also provides an 8-ohm bypass for use with compatible low-impedance amplifiers.
This flexibility allows system designers to incorporate the ROCKFA62T-BR into a variety of outdoor sound systems, from smaller landscape installations to larger commercial properties.
Transformer tap selection should be matched to the amplifier, system voltage, and desired coverage requirements.
Weather-Resistant Construction for Outdoor Installations
Designed for outdoor environments, the ROCKFA62T-BR uses weather-resistant construction to help withstand exposure associated with landscape installations.
Its durable enclosure makes it suitable for patios, gardens, courtyards, and other outdoor commercial areas.
For long-term reliability, installation should follow AtlasIED's recommended placement, wiring, and environmental guidelines.
Integrated Security Eyebolt
The ROCKFA62T-BR incorporates an embedded underground security eyebolt to help discourage unauthorized removal.
This feature is particularly valuable in public-facing environments such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, and landscaped commercial properties.
The security provision allows installers to incorporate an appropriate anchoring method as part of the overall installation.
Professional Sound Without Visible Speaker Cabinets
The ROCKFA62T-BR provides an effective way to add background music and paging coverage without installing conspicuous wall-mounted speakers.
Its landscape-friendly appearance is well suited to facilities that require both professional audio performance and architectural integration.
