The SoundTube IPD Hub 2 Extender Box (IPD-EXT BOX) is a powerful expansion module designed to scale your IP-based audio systems with ease. Built to integrate seamlessly with Dante™ and AES67-compatible networks, the IPD-EXT BOX allows you to connect up to five IPD Hub 2 amplifiers, making it ideal for commercial installations requiring flexible, multi-zone audio distribution.
Replacing traditional 70V/100V distributed systems, the IPD-EXT BOX provides the core infrastructure for scalable digital audio networks in environments such as retail stores, restaurants, hotels, bars, spas, and educational facilities. With 2-channel powered Dante connectivity, integrated DSP, input mixing, EQ, and priority paging, the unit delivers advanced performance without requiring a standalone DSP.
For user-friendly operation, the extender supports remote volume and source selection via the SoundTube RVC-1 and can be configured using STNet Control Center software. Compact and easy to mount, it offers flexible power options including PoE, PoE+, or 24V external power.
