The Allen & Heath AHM-16 is a high-performance, versatile audio matrix processor engineered for multi-zone audio distribution, paging, conferencing, and speaker processing in a wide range of environments. Perfect for corporate offices, hospitality, education, retail, event venues, theatres, cruise ships, and sports arenas, the AHM-16 ensures precise audio control, clear speech intelligibility, and seamless system integration.
With a 16x16 processing matrix and 8x8 local analogue I/O, the AHM-16 provides up to 16 mono or 8 stereo zones of processing and can expand to 128x128 channels through audio networking. Optional Dante 96kHz cards (AES67 and DDM ready) allow high-fidelity, low-latency audio transport across IP networks, supporting large, distributed sound systems.
The processor comes equipped with advanced DSP tools such as Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM), Ambient Noise Compensation (ANC), priority ducking, and 8-band PEQ, giving installers and system designers full control over every input and zone.
Seamless integration is supported via Allen & Heath IP1, IP6, and IP8 remote controllers, GPIO, TCP/IP, and industry-standard control systems. The Custom Control editor and app enable tailored interfaces for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and kiosk-style operation. The front panel features an intuitive display with 8 programmable softkeys, while the event scheduler and internal stereo playback provide automation and playback functionality for complex installations.
