The AtlasIED FAP62T is a premium 6" coaxial in-ceiling speaker designed for high-performance audio, simplified installation, and seamless architectural integration. Engineered to match the performance of the legendary Strategy Series II, the FAP62T delivers clear, full-range sound with outstanding speech intelligibility and musicality, making it ideal for commercial, institutional, and retail environments.
Its polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround, paired with a 19mm PEI coaxially mounted tweeter, ensures accurate high-frequency reproduction and long-term durability. With high sensitivity, the FAP62T requires less power to achieve the desired sound pressure levels, making it efficient and system-friendly.
Factory-assembled with a tuned and ported 285 in³ deep-drawn galvanized steel enclosure, the FAP62T delivers extended low-frequency response and improved acoustic performance. A front-mounted tap selector switch allows for easy tuning of 70.7V/100V distributed systems, or bypass for 8-ohm direct connection. A detachable 4-pole Phoenix-style connector allows for fast pre-wiring and daisy-chaining of full-range speakers or Atlas FAPSUB subwoofers.
The C-ring/V-rail tile bridge and dog-leg mounting tabs simplify installation in both drop tile and drywall ceilings. For new construction, an optional FAP62-TR trim ring is available to reserve speaker placement during drywall installation.
