The AtlasIED FAP82T is a premium 8" coaxial in-ceiling speaker system engineered for superior performance in business music, paging, and public address applications—especially those with high ceilings. Designed with a tuned and ported enclosure, tight 100° dispersion, and enhanced sensitivity, this speaker delivers consistent, high-output sound coverage while minimizing SPL drop-off and distortion.

Ideal for commercial installations in retail spaces, airports, restaurants, and auditoriums, the FAP82T ensures exceptional vocal clarity and full-range music reproduction. The 8" polypropylene cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround and 19mm PEI dome tweeter deliver clean, accurate audio across a wide frequency range.

Built to handle 70.7V/100V distributed systems, it features a high-quality 60W low-saturation transformer with a front-mounted tap selector switch for quick tuning. The tap switch also includes an 8-ohm bypass option for direct connection to low-impedance amplifiers.

The FAP82T comes pre-mounted in a deep-drawn, ported galvanized steel enclosure (937 cubic inches) for extended low-frequency response and includes mounting hardware for tile ceilings or pendulum suspension.
