AtlasIED HLE-3 Explosion-Proof Compression Driver – Hazardous Area Audio
The AtlasIED HLE-3 is a 60-watt, 16-ohm explosion-proof compression driver designed for high-efficiency voice and electronic signal communication in hazardous environments. Part of the HLE and MLE series, these drivers are housed in rugged die-cast aluminum enclosures with 1/2" conduit access and adjustable mounting brackets for flexible installation.

Optional projector horns allow customization of sound dispersion:

• HLE/MLE-30: Polycarbonate projector providing a 120° x 60° pattern for wide-area coverage

• HLE/MLE-32: Spun aluminum bell offering a 95° circular distribution

Important: Only the HLE/MLE-30 and HLE/MLE-32 horns are UL-listed for use with HLE/MLE explosion-proof drivers.

The HLE-3 is UL-certified and safety listed to UL1203, UL1604, UL2279, and UL913, approved for Class 1, Groups B, C & D hazardous locations, making it ideal for signal and communication systems in combustible or hazardous areas.
