The Cloud MA40 is a compact mono amplifier designed for “install-and-forget” applications in commercial and AV installations. Small enough to fit into a wall or ceiling void, or near projectors, displays, or loudspeakers, it is ideal for museums, galleries, digital signage, tour guide systems, and mobile environments such as buses or boats.
Despite its compact size, the MA40 offers versatile audio control: two stereo line inputs are summed to mono, combined with a balanced microphone input. Both the mic and line inputs can be configured for priority, enabling announcements or automated messages over background music. 12 V phantom power is available for condenser microphones. Front and rear panel EQ adjustments allow optimization of audio to suit different speaker types and environments.
The MA40 delivers up to 40 W output into 4 ohms (depending on DC supply voltage) with fully protected power stages against overcurrent, DC offset, and thermal faults. Features like switch-on delay, music mute input, and remote level control make it easy to integrate into larger systems while protecting connected loudspeakers. Energy-efficient and convection-cooled, the MA40 is silent in operation and includes a user-selectable automatic power-down mode for minimal standby consumption.
