The Community ALC-3202D is a high-power, two-channel amplified loudspeaker controller designed to deliver professional amplification, digital signal processing, and Dante® network audio for Community loudspeaker systems from Biamp. With up to 3,200 watts per channel at 2 ohms, the ALC-3202D provides the power and flexibility required for demanding commercial sound installations, performance venues, stadiums, and distributed audio systems.
Unlike a conventional power amplifier, the ALC-3202D combines amplification, loudspeaker optimization, signal routing, and system monitoring in a single rack-mounted unit. Its integrated DSP includes 1024-tap FIR linear-phase processing, manufacturer-developed Community loudspeaker presets, and advanced protection limiters to help achieve consistent sound quality while protecting connected speakers.
The amplifier supports 2-ohm, 4-ohm, and 8-ohm loudspeaker loads, along with 70V and 100V distributed systems. Power Sharing technology allows available amplifier power to be allocated asymmetrically across the two channels, giving system designers greater flexibility when configuring loudspeaker zones.
