The dbx ZonePRO 1261m is part of the ZonePRO family of commercial audio processors, designed to provide comprehensive signal processing and control for commercial sound systems. With 12 inputs and 6 outputs, the 1261m supports both analog and digital sources, offering flexible routing and advanced audio optimization.
Inputs include six balanced mic/line switchable terminal block inputs, four mono-summed RCA inputs, and one S/PDIF digital input, with hardware-controlled microphone gain per channel. The device features a pre-configured architecture with input processing, a central matrix, and output processing. Two input insert positions and one output insert position allow channel-specific insert processing to be applied.
The 1261m incorporates AutoWarmth®, a psychoacoustic feature that preserves full frequency bandwidth even at low signal levels, ensuring consistent audio performance across all output zones. A link bus allows duplication of the first six channels to another ZonePRO device for expanded output zones.
Control options include RS-232 and Ethernet, optional wall-mounted Zone Controllers for end-user functions (volume, source, preset), and integration with third-party control systems. The ZonePRO Designer software provides an intuitive wizard-driven interface for configuration, monitoring, and real-time system control.
