High-Fidelity Sound from a Compact Commercial Speaker
The Control 25AV uses a deep enclosure, high-power components, and a carefully designed crossover network to deliver smooth frequency response and consistent sound throughout the listening area.
A 5.25-inch polypropylene-coated low-frequency driver provides dependable low- and mid-frequency reproduction, while the titanium-coated high-frequency driver delivers clear, detailed highs. The 100° x 100° coverage pattern helps distribute sound evenly across a wide listening area.
For applications requiring additional low-frequency output, the Control 25AV can also be combined with a compatible JBL Control Contractor subwoofer.
70V, 100V and 8-Ohm Operation
The JBL Control 25AV includes a built-in transformer for professional 70V and 100V distributed audio systems. Available 70V taps are 30W, 15W, 7.5W, and 3.7W, while 100V operation provides 30W, 15W, and 7.5W taps. The speaker can also operate at 8 ohms in the THRU setting.
Built for Indoor and Outdoor Installations
The Control 25AV is engineered to withstand demanding commercial environments. Its weather-resistant design includes a stainless steel grille, polypropylene-coated woofer, JBL WeatherEdge™ protection, and rust-resistant nickel/zinc input terminals.
These features help protect critical speaker components when the Control 25AV is used in outdoor or other challenging environments.
The enclosure and grille can also be painted to better match the surrounding architecture or décor.
InvisiBall Mounting System
The included JBL InvisiBall® mounting system provides a clean, professional installation while allowing the speaker to be aimed for proper sound coverage.
The mounting hardware is largely concealed after installation, helping maintain the Control 25AV's unobtrusive appearance while also providing additional resistance to unauthorized removal.
A sealed input panel cover is included for additional protection at the speaker connections.
