How the LA-438 Neck Loop Works

The LA-438 connects to a compatible Listen Technologies assistive listening receiver using its 3.5 mm stereo plug.

Once connected, the listener places the neck loop around their neck and activates the telecoil setting on their hearing aid or cochlear implant processor.

Audio received by the connected assistive listening receiver is converted into a magnetic field around the neck loop. The telecoil in the listener's hearing device detects this field and reproduces the audio through the hearing device.

This arrangement allows users to listen without conventional headphones while taking advantage of their own hearing device settings.

Important: The LA-438 is a passive neck loop accessory. It requires a compatible assistive listening receiver and does not independently receive RF, infrared, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth audio signals.
