The RDL DB-SH1 is a versatile dual-channel headphone amplifier designed to drive headphones of any impedance from consumer or professional audio sources. Perfect for language translation, museums, interview studios, and music stores, the DB-SH1 ensures clear, reliable audio in a wide range of applications.
This module accepts balanced or unbalanced inputs for both left and right channels, with input levels from -20 dBV to +20 dBu. A recessed input sensitivity switch and a mode switch allow selection between stereo and mono operation, using only the left input in mono mode. The front panel features a long-life VCA stereo level control, providing noise-free adjustment without affecting audio signal quality.
The amplifier delivers over 50 mW into high or low impedance headphones through a durable metal ¼" (6.3 mm) jack, with optional operation from a 24 Vdc or 12 Vdc power supply. Mountable in precut openings or via RDL Decora® accessories, the DB-SH1 combines convenience, flexibility, and professional-grade performance.
