The RDL DB-TPSL1A is a single-pair Format-A audio sending module designed for systems requiring compact, reliable audio transmission over twisted-pair cabling. Ideal for wall boxes, cabinets, and other enclosure types, it provides a stereo line-level input via a mini-jack or two RCA jacks, which are internally summed to a mono output.
Supporting standard –10 dBV unbalanced consumer-level signals, the DB-TPSL1A routes its mono audio output to a user-selectable FORMAT-A pair (A, B, or C). Because it drives only one pair, the module can be daisy-chained with other single-pair or two-pair senders, enabling versatile and expandable system configurations.
Dual rear-panel RJ45 jacks pass both power and all three audio pairs, allowing integration with other Format-A modules and remote powering sources. The module may also be powered locally through the detachable terminal block, with fused distribution to connected devices. A front-panel blue LED indicates active power.
The DB-TPSL1A incorporates studio-quality precision active balanced circuitry, delivering low noise, low distortion, exceptional hum rejection, and the installation flexibility expected from RDL Format-A products.
