The RDL DB-TPSL1A is a compact Format-A audio sending module designed to transmit line-level audio over twisted-pair cabling in commercial and professional audio systems. It accepts a stereo consumer-level source through either RCA inputs or a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack and sums the stereo signal to mono for transmission.
The DB-TPSL1A sends the mono audio signal over a user-selectable Format-A pair (A, B, or C). Because it uses a single audio pair, the module can be combined with other RDL Format-A sending modules to create flexible, expandable audio distribution systems.
Two rear-panel RJ45 connections provide signal and power pass-through, allowing the DB-TPSL1A to connect with other Format-A modules and remote power sources. The module can also be powered locally through its detachable terminal block, with fused power distribution available for connected modules.
