The Shure PGADRUMKIT5 is a complete 5-piece drum microphone kit designed for live sound reinforcement, rehearsal, recording, and installed performance systems. Featuring microphones from Shure's PGA Series, the kit provides dedicated miking options for kick drum, snare, and toms, along with an additional PGA57 instrument microphone for flexible placement within a drum or instrument setup.

The PGADRUMKIT5 includes one PGA52 kick drum microphone, three PGA56 drum microphones, and one PGA57 instrument microphone, along with drum mounts, a microphone clip, XLR cables, and a carrying case.

With the essential mounting hardware and cables included, the PGADRUMKIT5 provides a convenient package for drummers, venues, houses of worship, schools, rehearsal facilities, and live sound systems.

Five Microphones for Drum and Instrument Miking

The PGADRUMKIT5 combines three different PGA microphone models to handle different parts of a drum kit.

Shure PGA52 Kick Drum Microphone

The included PGA52 cardioid dynamic microphone is designed for low-frequency instruments such as kick drum.

Its cardioid pickup pattern focuses on sound from the front of the microphone while reducing pickup from the sides and rear, helping isolate the kick drum in live and recording environments.

Three Shure PGA56 Drum Microphones

Three PGA56 cardioid dynamic microphones are included for close miking snare drums, rack toms, floor toms, and other percussion instruments.

The kit also includes three AP56DM drum rim mounts, allowing the PGA56 microphones to be attached directly to compatible drum rims without requiring separate microphone stands for each drum.

Shure PGA57 Instrument Microphone

The included PGA57 cardioid dynamic microphone provides an additional close-miking option for drums, percussion, guitar amplifiers, and other instruments.

Its versatility makes it useful beyond the drum kit when additional instrument miking is required.
