The SoundTube CM42-EZs-II is a premium 4” coaxial, two-way, blind-mount in-ceiling speaker, engineered for high-efficiency, full-range audio performance in commercial and professional applications. Featuring a shallow 3.5-inch back can, this compact speaker is ideal for installations with limited plenum space while delivering maximum frequency response (125 Hz – 22 kHz, –10 dB).
Equipped with a 4-inch treated fiber woofer with cloth surround and a 0.75-inch silk dome tweeter, the CM42-EZs-II provides superior voice intelligibility with a 100° average coverage angle (2–10 kHz, independently verified). Its six-position tap switch allows for 25V, 70.7V, 100V, and 16-ohm transformer bypass configurations, reducing amplification costs and enabling flexible multi-speaker setups.
