The SoundTube HP890i 8″ High Power Open-Ceiling Speaker is a premium two-way, high-efficiency loudspeaker designed for foreground music, paging, and sound-reinforcement applications. Equipped with an 8″ treated-fiber woofer and a 1.42″ compression driver, the HP890i delivers powerful output, superior intelligibility, and broad, consistent coverage using SoundTube’s patented BroadBeamHP® waveguide technology.
The speaker includes a 120-watt transformer with a five-position rotary tap switch and a transformer bypass for 8-ohm operation, making it ideal for 25-, 70.7-, and 100-volt distributed audio systems. Built with ZeroReflection™ enclosure technology, the HP890i ensures optimal acoustic performance and cabinet rigidity.
Weather-resistant components allow the speaker to perform reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments.
