The SoundTube IPD-CM82-BGM-WH is an 8" IP-addressable Dante/AES67 in-ceiling speaker designed for commercial audio, paging, and background music applications. Featuring an 8" polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 1" silk dome tweeter, this speaker delivers smooth midrange clarity and wide off-axis performance using SoundTube’s BroadBeam Ring™ technology.

A tuned port on the baffle enhances musicality with bass response down to 55 Hz (-10 dB), while the 86 dB sensitivity and 16-ohm impedance provide excellent efficiency and reduced amplification costs. The painted steel grille ensures long-term durability in demanding installations.

The IPD-CM82-BGM-WH includes a 40-watt bi-amplified design with DSP, plus CobraNet for audio distribution and real-time speaker condition monitoring. Connectivity is handled via an RJ45 Ethernet port, with an optional 24V DC barrel connection for non-PoE installations. The included tile bridge, conduit clamp, and paint shield support quick, secure installation. UL 60065 and UL 2043 listed.
