TASCAM MZ-123BT Installation Mixer with Discrete Zone Audio Control
The TASCAM MZ-123BT is a compact 1U multi-channel, multi-zone professional installation mixer designed for versatile routing, mixing, and distribution of up to three audio channels. Perfect for commercial environments such as restaurants, hotels, retail stores, and cafes, it offers independent audio routing and announcements with simple operation.
Featuring three discrete zone outputs with individual volume controls, the MZ-123BT allows precise routing of background music or announcements to specific rooms or areas. Input channel sources can be easily assigned to each zone output, with selectable MONO/STEREO modes for flexible audio configuration. Euroblock connectors provide secure and seamless connections ideal for fixed installations.
The mixer includes 3 input channels: two LINE inputs via RCA (unbalanced), and one Bluetooth® / 3.5mm (1/8") AUX input for wireless or auxiliary device connections. It also features 2 MIC inputs designed for announcements or talk-over applications, each with individual +48V phantom power switches, 3-band EQ, and high pass filters to finely tune the input signal tone and quality. MIC 1 can be connected via a front panel XLR/TRS combo jack or rear Euroblock connector.
The Talk Over feature automatically attenuates background music in the designated zone when microphone audio is detected, ensuring announcements are clear and intelligible. Bluetooth® connectivity enhances flexibility for wireless audio sources.
